The GO ticket vending machines can be found in every underground station and at the main bus and tram stops. You will have no trouble recognising them with their distinctive red or blue colour. Aboveground, you can access the machines every day of the week, day and night.
Moreover, the new generation of GO is also fitted for people with reduced mobility and visually impaired people.
Pay on a GO-vending machine
All our vending machines accept:
- Debit cards (Bancontact, Mister Cash), contactless or not
- Credit cards (Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard), contactless or not
Do you want to pay cash? In that case, use a red vending machine. Please bear in mind that if you purchase for more than € 40, you will be asked to pay with a bank card.
Purchase your tickets on a GO
The following tickets are available on our GO:
- STIB-MIVB 1 journey for one journey with a connection, within the hour of validation
- STIB-MIVB 1 day to travel the whole day on the STIB-MIVB network
- Airport2City to travel from the airport to the city
- All the Brupass tickets, which can be loaded on the MOBIB card
On our red GO (new generation), you can also purchase a MOBIB basic card on which you can load all the STIB-MIVB tickets. This card costs € 6 and can be reloaded. Please bear in mind that you cannot load season tickets on this card.
Reload your season ticket on a GO
Is your profile up to date? You do not need any specific action on our part? In that case, try reloading your season ticket using a GO vending machine. It’s as easy as ABC:
- Place your MOBIB card on the card reader of the machine
- Choose the season ticket you want to load on your MOBIB card
- Pay… and you’re done!

Our blue and red machines have the same basic goal: helping you to get around. Whether you are a new traveller or a tourist, a commuter or an inhabitant used to travel with public transport... Our GO vending machines are practical for everyone!
The red GO
These machines offer every purchase and reload option. You can:
- Purchase paper tickets
- Purchase and reload a MOBIB basic card
- Load a season ticket (1 month or 12 months) on a personal MOBIB card
Moreover, you can choose your means of payment: cash (up to € 40) or bank card (contactless or not).
The blue GO
Your go-to for a quick purchase.
Use these machines to load tickets (on a MOBIB basic and personal card) and season tickets (on a personal MOBIB card). However, you can only pay by bank card.
